Design:
Our staff are always on hand to assist Architects, Contractors, Kitchen Designers and the direct customers in formulating their designs.
We can help with information on the possibilities and limitations of the stone you require, as well as unique ideas to make your kitchen a show-stopping masterpiece. Maybe you want ideas on the colours best suited to your units or you know exactly the shade and pattern you want but need help sourcing it, what ever the dilemma we can help.
Stones can be viewed prior to cutting at our factory or we can arrange for you to visit our suppliers to ensure that the exact shade or pattern you require is reserved and delivered directly to us
| Template:
We offer a full templating service where one of our representatives will attend site to make plastic Corex templates of the work surfaces. You will be able to see exactly how the work surfaces will look including overhangs, sink and hob positions.
It is essential that all carcases are installed and level; with any free standing appliances being fixed and secured before we visit to template. All sinks and appliances must be available on site when we arrive to template.
We also request that the client or a company representative attends the template visit to inspect our templates and sign off our site survey sheet. The worktops will be manufactured to these templates and the information provided so it's important that we are provided with correct and accurate information.
The templates will then be returned to our factory where they will be checked against the original information you provided for your estimate. We may contact you at this stage to advise you of a price increase or decrease. Upon receipt of your signed acceptance of any changes to your order confirmation, and subject to payment terms, the order will go into production.
| Manufacture:
First the worktops will be cut to size from the large sheet of Granite or Quartz. The worktops are then shaped to fit your specific kitchen. Once shaped the exposed edges are then polished and the edge detail applied.
The last stage of the manufacturing is for the sink and hob cut outs to be cut into the worktops. This includes any tap holes or drainer grooves you have ordered.
Once the worktops are complete then they go through our quality control process. All Granite tops are sealed to ensure protection. Quartz tops do not need to be sealed so they are simply cleaned ready for installation.
| Installation:
We will return to install your worktops normally 3-5 days after template.
Using the correct colour resins we will join the worktops where needed and fix any backsplash/windowsills. By using the specific glues joints are less noticeable.
When fixing in sinks and hobs all you need to ensure is that the plumbing and electrics or gas is taken care of and we will do the rest.
Once the worktops are installed they will be cleaned one last time.
